Ranged Classes Discourse

I'm kind of new to this game, compared to a lot of people here I think, and have been noticing a lot of prejudice towards ranged character like myself since I started. Are Gunners and Rangers somehow broken??? That's what I keep being told, at least even though I die in like two hits to anything

yeah the gatlands are just fully inaccessible far as we know

rangers aren't broken they just have a higher skill ceiling and some people can't cope with that

As far as I know server 5 has only been up for a few hours, was it up yesterday? How did you even find this game?

on the thread topic, ranged discourse was (or is, i guess) mostly just pvp salt bc ranged was mostly brainless kiting. just enjoy yourself tbh

the kiting is only brainless because people don't know how to actually play against rangers lolllll. it takes strategy to ranged fight

if people were actually good at the game there wouldn't be as much salt from rando PVPers

I like mmo's and found a youtube vid of this game a few days back. It was all about how cool the gunner class was, and it got my hyped up. Sooo I got the game yesterday

Just equip your archer with a gun. Archer skills with gun weapon damage. This works because the only requirement for equipping a gun is that you are a ranged class.

if you're fighting low level ranged players, like you probably are matched with if you play blood warrior, of course they're not going to have the skill to execute the high level plays being a ranger facilitates. it's the sort of class that scales with your skill, which is the best kind of class
