Item Catalog (Maybe)
So I checked the wiki recently and it's kind of a mess...
Maybe we could write about common items newcomers might encounter here?
Health Potion: Deals 150 damage to your health
Hurt Potion: Heals 150 hurt
Poison: Can be applied to anything! (BE CAREFUL)

Rat Poison, which could only be used by a beastmaster who chose the rat companion at the start was pretty good, having a rat deal poison damage was pretty OD NGL

Re: Item Catalog (Maybe)
They don't even work like that, but no one reads the tool tip because of the weird font used for the items in the first 20 items. How did enough people play this game to make marketplaces crash

Some of the weirder items I enjoyed finding for the first time back in the day;
Swamp Juice: No Catalogued Effect
Swamp Drink: Poisons consumer for 1 damage per hour, lasts until death.
Swamp Soup: Full Heal + A Curse (Not specified and not catalogued)

Stone Powder: Turns an item to stone + ruins any item of food.
Juicy Fruit: It's SOOOOO juicy!
Log of Wood: A log of wood, can be used in crafting (it can't)
Gourd: A large gourd, pets can play with it if bored.

I'll sticky this for now, but a new thread with better formatting should be made in the future once you compile a big enough list of items.

Fruit Juice: Water with a hint of something more...
Bat Bubbles: Allows the user to blow small bubbles of rabies.
Fire Cracker: Opens burning safes.

Thank you Admin!
Also, some relevant low-level items I've encountered;
Pig's Blood: Not from a Pig, but definitely blood! The flavor text implies you can drink it, but I have tried and it seems to never consume the item, nor apply any effects.
Squire's Gauntlets: Gauntlets that first appear to be normal equipment, but actually appear to be some kind of pseudo-mimic? Very fun novelty item, although not especially funny the first time you use them, LOL.
Mr. Hound's Pedigree: Seems to be an early quest item for the Mr. Hound companion questline. When you hand it over, he takes it in his mouth and rips it apart! Cute, but made figuring out the next step in his questline somewhat confusing!

Re: Item Catalog (Maybe)
Crab Cracker Power Crusher: Easily kills any enemy with the (Crab) subtype (LastCrabStanding Don't Look)
Funny Socks: Weak armor but the fried egg pattern is funny!
Heavy Hammer: Identical to a Hammer but TWICE as heavy!
Moon Shoes: +15ft of movement speed on the moon (Pretty sure you can't go to the moon in ANY questline)
Soup Bowl: A bowl of soup
Soup Bowl: A bowl of soup
Z Block:(No Description, Clogs up 4 inventory spaces)

You never go to the moon in any questline however the moonshoes have a hidden bonus of +1 reputation with any moon-aligned NPCs, but there soony one in the game.LoreKeeper Lowain wrote:

I can actually clarify all of those for youlombaxfan42 wrote:Admin wrote:I'll sticky this for now, but a new thread with better formatting should be made in the future once you compile a big enough list of items.

Pig's Blood causes 30 seconds of dizzying effect on next log in, retention may or may not be intentional as use of a gag item.
Squire's Gauntlets: Unfortunately, they are just as appear, but, if you try to disenchant the item, it removes the gloves, and not the mimic, allowing you to encounter the rare Bare Mimic enemy (Easy Gold for players above level 10)
Mr. Hound's Pedigree: This is probably due to the game's limitations, or something along those lines, the full cutscene which hints more obviously towards the next step in the questline is not played after giving Mr. Hound the Pedigree if the healthbar is filling back up or being decreased, or if the player has a status or visual effect active.
