Newbie Questions

Hello all! This is my first time posting on a forum like this, so please forgive me for my noobishness (I'm still struggling to follow these threads and such right now) and overall lack of knowledge!

I used to be super into games like this when I was younger, and I was wondering what classes/races/builds are fun to enjoy? I found out about this game from going down a youtube rabbit hole, but the guy I watched didn't really explain anything very well. Geomancer looks fun, but I keep seeing people say it's not entirely optimal?

well for geomancer it depends, how fast can you use your mouse's scrollwheel?

Pretty quickly! Like I said, I'm familliar with games of this type, but wasn't particularly sure what each class really entailed!

Also, are there any starting race options similar to the Lombax of the Ratchet and Clank series? Anything fuzzy and adorable works!

I think you'll find the Bomlax is quite similar

The devs obviously wanted to put Lombax in the game but couldn't get the rights so just put in the shitty Bomlax

EDIT: Wait, why are the eyes on the Bomlax model clipping like this? Does anyone know how to fix this?? It is ver[y/i] disturbing every time they blink!

It's uh, it's not clipping, they are like that. Sorry

If you look into their lore it makes sense why they're like that

Also, what seems to be the problem with the Blood Warrior class? I keep seeing posts in the archives vaguely "ragging" on it, and I can't seem to find any specific reasoning behind it other than it being "edgy"?

Could have something to do with the detailed blood trail they leave behind? I've heard it can be hard on older computers

It's the permanent PVP, if you can find the old forums and the thread titled "Vallas Marketplace AFK Merchant Massacre" you'll see what happened during the permadeath scurvy event.

i have a lotttt of character experience!1!! it probably wont be optomized, but i can giv sum reviews of race and classe s ive tried!!! gimme sum time and i can type up a lil guide ^^
